Since 2000 the Capitol Hill Chamber Music Festival
has provided world class period instrument
performances with musicians from the area and from
afar on Capitol Hill and more recently in
Baltimore and Annapolis. Our performers are deeply
committed, passionate explorers of musical
landscapes and expressive realms of great variety,
among the finest in their field around the globe,
and we are excited that you share our enthusiasm
for this chamber music both familiar and rarely if
ever heard on period instruments.
As we are committed to providing an opportunity
for everyone to experience this music, admission
is by suggested donation, a free will offering,
and the concerts are open to all regardless of
contribution. These concert entrance donations
provide the majority our funding, but we need
your help. Our expenses are extremely low
relative to other arts organizations, largely as
we have no administrative costs whatsoever. Your
donations provide us with the opportunity to
compensate our artists for their
travel and their artistic efforts and time away
from busy performance schedules.
Your additional donation gives us the final lift
that enables this endeavor. Thank you from all
of our performers and audience members for
assisting us in offering these unique programs
to the community. We look forward to seeing you
at future concerts!
